Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: Endemic in New Guinea. Probably a very local species. Dark forms are presumed to belong to Gargettiana nomo but the status of that species needs a thorough revision.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Ampas, Besum, Boma, Furu Camp, Gn Meja (Manokwari), Marina Valen, Pass Valley, Tekai, Uskwar, Walmak, Wandammen Peninsula, Yuwong (Keerom). Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
