Distribution

STATUS: A rare species, until now only found on the Indonesian side of New Guinea. The taxon flavolavata Rothschild, 1917 is by some considered to be a subspecies of this species in the Arfak Mountains but it is very likely that the yellow holotype only concerns a blanched specimen.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Keerom, Nabire, Ninay Valley, Senopi, Uskwar, Utakwa River, Wangaar. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.

DATA SOURCES: NHMUK.
