Distribution

 

 

 

 

STATUS: Probably widely distributed. It is known from Sundaland and West New Guinea with a wide gap in between. It is very similar to the next species, bradleyi, but argenteopurpurea usually is darker with a purple tinge, while bradleyi is more grey and seems to have broader forewings.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Biak Island: Marauw; New Guinea: Arfak Mts., Depapre, Ifar, Senopi. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Singapore, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo.
