Distribution

 

 

 

 

STATUS: Widely distibuted. In Papua not common and local. Some subspecies are recognized, in New Guinea it is represented by ssp. hampsoni.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Ampas, Demaisi, Fakfak, Ninay Valley, Nomnagihé, Rasiei, Utakwa River. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: India, Yunnan; Sundaland; The Philippines, Sulawesi, South Moluccas; Papua New Guinea.
