Distribution

 

 

 

 

STATUS: This species has been collected already during the Archbold Expedition in 1938 but was just recently been discovered to be a new species. A second specimen was collected in 1993 in the Baliem Valley. Curiously both specimens were found on almost the same locality in 55 years.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Moss Forest, Wamena. Details in gazetteer.
