STATUS: A rare species with a strange distribution, known from the Central Mountain Range and Biak Island.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Biak Island: Sansundi; New Guinea: Bivak 39 (Star Mountain Exp. 1959), Pass Valley, Walmak. Details in gazetteer.
