STATUS: Originally described from Madeira and also known from the Canary Islands. The occurrance of this species on New Guinea would be a surprise and a miracle. The identity of this species has to be confirmed.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Walmak. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Madeira, Canary Islands.
