STATUS: A rare species, but widely distributed in New Guinea. In Papua represented by ssp. rufomixta.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Bivak 39a (Star Mts Exp.), Mt. Goliath, Keerom, Pass Valley, Pim, Sibil, Walmak, Wandammen Mts. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
