The Emerald Moths (Lepidoptera: Geometridae: Geometrinae) of Papua Indonesia
by Rob de Vos
Eucyclodes scintillans (Warren, 1906)
ssp. isorrhopia Prout, 1913
Distribution
STATUS: Widely distributed in New Guinea, in the western part represented by subspecies isorrhopia. Originally placed in the genus Prasinocyma but Eucyclodes seems more appropiate. Conspicuous characters for this are the undulate wingmargins and the broken tornal patches, typical in Eucyclodes. Both genera need a thorough revision.
PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Borme, Cyclops Mts, Demaisi, Mt. Goliath, Huri-Mber, Keerom, Mt. Kunupi, Mokwam, Syoubri (Arfak), Walmak. Details in gazetteer.
