Dioscore thalassias (Warren, 1903)
Distribution
STATUS: A local species, seems most abundant in the western part of New Guinea. Similar to the allied species Dioscore nereis but with the white pattern thinner and with a small discal spot on both wings. The best distinguishing character is the oblique transverse line in thalassias running sinuously towards the costa, while in nereis it ends in the apex.
