Distribution
STATUS: This species has a very wide distribution range. In Papua it is represented by the nomotypical subspecies. Common in lowland and mountainous areas.
PAPUA LOCALITIES: Waigeo Island: Camp Nok; Roon Island: Yende; Biak Island: Biak; New Guinea: Demaisi, Depapre, Fakfak, Mt. Goliath, Jembatan Dua (Waena), Landikma, McCluer Bay, Manokwari, Gn. Meja Reserve, Ninay Valley, Nomnagihé, Sabron Camp (Cyclops), Sawia, Ubrub, Upper Setekwa River, Tekai, Utakwa River, Walmak. Details in gazetteer.
EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Indo-Australian region from India to North Australia, East to Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Norfolk Island.
