Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: Widely distributed and a common species in New Guinea. It might be confused with Lomographa prosticta, but that species has the white hindwing margin rounded, while in Plectoneura species the yellow margin has an angle.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Waigeo Island: Camp Nok; Supiori Island: Nansfori; Yapen Island: Mambo; New Guinea: Abmisibil, Cyclops Camp, Dohunsehik, Fakfak, Mt. Goliath, Humboldt Bay, Mt. Kunupi, Lelambo, Mt. Lina (Cyclops), Mabilabol, Mokwam, Ninay Valley, Nomnagihé, Oksibil, Omban, Pass Valley, Resi bivak, Sabron Camp (Cyclops), Sawia, Setekwa River, Timeepa, Utakwa River, Walmak, Wandammen Peninsula, Warmare Dua, Wembi.
