Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: Endemic in the Central Mountain Range of Papua. The species is rather variable, some specimens have a red band or remnants of it on the upperside of the hindwing.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Araboebivak, Ilaga, Ilu, Langda, Timeepa, Tuguwai. Details in gazetteer.
