Distribution
STATUS: Widely distributed in the southern Indo-Australian region. Males have the forewing apex less strongly falcate than in castaneorufa and apicifulva. The male hindwing has the termen between tail and dorsum almost straight (in other species dentate). This common species is extremely variable.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Malayan Peninsula, Sumatra, Java, Borneo, Sulawesi, Moluccas, Gebe, Philippines, Aru, Papua New Guinea to Solomons, Queensland (Australia).
