Distribution
STATUS: One of the most common Ctimene species. It is also active during daytime which is probably due to the many records almost everywhere. The species is extremely variable which led to many confusions. In the West (mainly Onin and Birdshead Peninsula) white forms (f. albicolor) are not unusual. At high altitudes the yellow pattern on the forewings may be extremely reduced.
