The Euteliinae (Lepidoptera: Stictopterinae) of Papua Indonesia

Stictoptera obliquitaenia Warren, 1914

 

Only one specimen known of this species so the variability is unknown. The holotype is characterized by a conspicuous oblique band which runs from forewing apex to the middle of dorsum. The termen of the forewing is hardly dentated with tiny fringe spots.

 

 

 

 


Distribution

 

 

 

 

STATUS: Extremely rare. Only known by the holotype.
