Distribution
STATUS: A common species. There are two forms in this species which occur sympatrically. The most common form is f. trifasciata and for a long time they were considered to be two different species.
PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Borme, Fyria River (Kumawa Mts), Lelambo, Mabilabol, Ngat Biep, Prafi, Setekwa River, Sibil, Tuan Wowi, Utakwa River, Warmare Dua. Details in gazetteer.
EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea, North Queensland (Australia).
