Distribution
STATUS: A common species, widely distributed on New Guinea and adjacent islands. In Papua represented by the subspecies novaguinensis Van Eecke, 1924.
PAPUA LOCALITIES: Batanta Island; Supiori Island: Nansfori; Biak Island: Biak, Korem; New Guinea: Bog Camp (Foja Mts.), Borme, Brazza River, Depapre, Hotice Camp (Foja Mts.), Mappi, Maripi, Meja Reserve (Manokwari), Pionierbivak, Prauwenbivak, Rasiei, Senggo, Warkapi, waterfall (Cyclops Mts), Yongsu.
