STATUS: A common species, widely distributed. It may be that sibbling species are hiding in this taxon, the genus will be revised soon.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Waigeo Island: Camp Nok; Numfor Island: Suer; Supiori Island: Nansfori; New Guinea: Bog Camp (Foja Mts), Brazza River, Huri-Mber, Kouh, Kwerba, Lelambo, Maripi, Mokwam, Prafi, Sabron Camp (Cyclops), Senggo, Setekwa River, Utakwa River. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
