STATUS: A species with a peculiar and very wide distribution in the Papua region. It may hide some sibling species which should be studied.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Misool Island; Japen Island: Ansus; New Guinea: Mt. Goliath, Kapaur (Fakfak), Setekwa River. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
