Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: A rather rare species. A quite similar species as pyraula but with wider and more regular median band and more orange. Not yet recorded from Papua New Guinea but it probably also occurs in the western part of PNG.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Brazza River, Furu Camp (Foja Mts), Getentiri, Kouh, Merauke, Upper Setekwa River, Yongsu. Details in gazetteer.
