Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: Widely distributed on New Guinea and rather common. Similar to Cyme biagi but pattern with more contrast. If it is conspecific needs to be confirmed. The taxon fasciolata Rothschild, 1913 definitely is conspecific with aroa and therefore will be considered to be a junior synonym.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Borme, Foja Mts., Mt. Goliath, Mabilabol, Marina Valen, Moanemani, Mokndoma, Mokwam, Pass Valley, Walmak, Wasior, Yahukimo. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
