Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: The most common Cyana species in the region, with a strong sexual dimorphism. Male and female were originally described as separate species. It prefers mountain areas.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Abmisibil, Fakfak, Foja Mts., Mt. Goliath, Mt. Kunupi, Kwerba, Langda, Mabilabol, Mokndoma, Mokwam, Paniai Lakes, Pass Valley, Timeepa, Walmak, Wasior. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
