Distribution

 

 

 

 

STATUS: A common species and probably widely distributed in New Guinea. It is found in lowland and highland areas.This species is very much alike other Sarbena species in the western Sunda Islands and mainland of Southeast Asia, but S. hollowayi seem to be the only species of the genus on New Guinea.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Roon Island: Yende; New Guinea: Abmisibil, Demaisi, Depapre, Lelambo, Meja Reserve (Manokwari), Prafi, Rasiei, Sabron Camp (Cyclops), Senopi, Sentani, Werba. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
