Distribution

 

 

 

 

STATUS: Very widely distributed. The species is common and very variable in appearance (see pictures above).

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Biak Island: Marauw; New Guinea: Abmisibil, Andai, Benyas, Demaisi, Depapre, Fyria River (Buruway), Mt. Goliath, Kobrey, Kouh, Landikma, Maripi, Mokwam, Ninay Valley, Rasiei, Senopi, Sinimburu, Tandia, Utakwa River, Villa Nova (Manokwari), Waena, Walmak, Wamena. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: India through Indo-Australia to Fiji and Samoa.
