STATUS: A rare species. Lactura plectica is conspecific with and a junior synonym of insecutrix.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Araboe Camp, Mist Camp (Archbold Exp.), Sigi Camp (Archbold Exp.), Top Camp (Archbold Exp.). Details in gazetteer.
