STATUS: Widely distributed on New Guinea. Lactura erythrodendron Diakonoff, 1955 is undoubtly conspecific with colabristis.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Mokwam, Ninay Valley, Rattan Camp (Archbold Exp.), Sabron Camp (Cyclops), Setekwa River. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
