Distribution

 

 

 

 

STATUS: A common species. Resembles rutilella very much but the partly subhyaline wings and the broader yellow marginal band is distinguishing.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Misool Island: Fakal; Batanta Island: South coast; Roon Island: Yende; Japen Island; New Guinea: Gn. Bembab, Gn. Meja Reserve, Rasiei, Utakwa River. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea, Queensland (Australia).
