STATUS: A rather common species. As far as known at the moment it has only been collected in Papua Indonesia but it is to be expected to occur in northwestern PNG too.
PAPUA LOCALITIES: Numfor Island: Yenburwo, Namber; Biak Island; Japen Island: Ambaidiru; Yamna Island; New Guinea: Bhayangkara, Dojo, Foja Mts., Humboldt Bay, Ifar, Jayapura, Jembatan Dua, Jutefa Bay (Pim), Nabire, Pionierbivak, Sabron Camp (Cyclops), Sentani, Uapa, Waris, Wembi.
