Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: A peculiar distribution pattern. It is found on four islands at great distance of each other. Weigel (2008) recently recognized a new subspecies from Biak Island.

 

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Salawati; Yapen; Biak (ssp. biak): Korem. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Aru (Moluccas). As far as known it is not recorded from Papua New Guinea.
