Distribution
STATUS: A rare species which resembles Phazaca decorata. It differs by the presence of an apical tail on the hindwing and a regular white costal field on the hindwing, while decorata has no tail and has an irregular white costal field on the hindwing. Phazaca brunnea (Rothschild, 1916) is conspecific with decorata and thus a junior synonym.
