Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: A common and extremely variable species. There is no preference for lowland or mountain areas, although it seems more abundant in lowland.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Supiori Island: Nansfori; Biak Island; New Guinea: Affi, Ampas, Araucaria Camp, Asike, Demaisi, Depapre, Dotir, Fakfak, Getentiri, Ifar, Jayapura, Keerom, Kouh, Mt. Kunupi, Gn. Meja Reserve, Mist Camp, Mokwam, Moss Forest Camp, Samabusa, Senggo, Sibil, Top Camp, Uskwar, Vriendschap River. Details in gazetteer.
