Cascera irrorata Rothschild, 1917
ssp. irrorata Rothschild, 1917
pallida Rothschild, 1917
STATUS: A locally common species in lowland and at higher altitudes which is very similar to Cascera bella. The green colour very fast turns into brownish yellow in collections. Cascera irrorata is somewhat more irregular patterned than bella and has accentuated (paler or with checkered pattern) veins which cross the submarginal band in the forewing. DNA research should reveal if both species are conspecific or not.
