by Rob de Vos

Graphosia phaeocraspis Bethune-Baker, 1908

[Graphosia phaeocraspis Bethune-Baker, 1908] [holotype: Dinawa, PNG, in BMNH]

Tigrioides lactea Rothschild, 1912 [holotype: Utakwa River, in BMNH]
Tigrioides margaritacea Rothschild, 1912
[holotype: Utakwa River, in BMNH]

STATUS: Widely distributed on New Guinea but not common. Only the males are known. It seems that specimens from the Star Mountains are darker coloured than more western populations. This may be a different subspecies or a distinct species.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Mabilabol, Moanemani, Mokwam, Paniai, Sibil, Utakwa River. Details in gazetteer.
