Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: The species is in Papua represented by two subspecies: The nomotypical subspecies (red dots) is found in the lowland area of the Rouffaer Reserve and in PNG. Subspecies albosignatus (blue dots) has been found in the Lorentz Reserve only.

 

PAPUA LOCALITIES: ssp. exellens: New Guinea: Araucaria Camp; ssp. albosignatus: New Guinea: Utakwa River. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: ssp. exellens: Papua New Guinea; ssp. albosignatus: none.
